MyFord Touch runs on the Microsoft Auto 4.0 platform, but it uses a custom interface. The interface is split up into four sections that represent navigation, climate control, music, and hands-free cellular phone access.
In addition to acting as an interface hub, the main screen also offers limited control over the main systems. Limited navigation data is provided in the upper right quadrant, climate data is reported in the lower right quadrant, and so on.
