MyFord Touch is rebranded as MyLincoln Touch when it appears in vehicles that bear Ford’s upmarket badge. Since Ford uses its Lincoln vehicles as testbeds for many new technologies and amenities, MyLincoln Touch originally shipped with a number of features that Ford Sync lacked. Capacitive touch sensors, additional dash-mounted LCD displays, and various creature comforts were all introduced first in MyLincoln Touch systems.
Many of the additional MyLincoln Touch features have already appeared in MyFord Touch systems, though the upmarket brand will continue to offer new and improved options that the standard version doesn't.
